Ramps are for Boats, Not Runoff: Improving Water Quality through Management of Stormwater at Public Boat Ramps

Speaker: April Wobst, Restoration Program Manager and MassBays Regional Coordinator for Cape Cod

What is stormwater and why is it a problem? Learn about past and ongoing projects to improve coastal and freshwater pond water quality through planning, design and installation of green infrastructure stormwater management including recently completed construction at Scargo Lake in Dennis.

The talk will be 45 minutes with time for questions.

Optional Opportunity: Following the program, attendees are invited for a site walk of recently constructed stormwater system at Scargo Beach.
