2024 APCC Annual Meeting
Celebrating 56 Years!
APCC’s annual meeting was held August 25 at the Dennis Inn and was well attended.
Special recognition awards went to Susan Baur and the OLAUGS for bringing greater awareness and appreciation to the Cape’s ponds in a most unique way that captures the attention of the media and the public, and inspires us all. And to the town of Orleans conservation commission, conservation agent, John Jannell, and local advocate, Rick Francolini for the Putnam Farm project. Putnam Farm, a town-owned property, has become and will continue to grow as a multi-faceted town jewel—an example of best organic agricultural practices, wetland restoration, and preservation of conservation values and fostering community.
Dr. Jo Ann Muramoto, retired from APCC in June as longtime science program director. APCC honored her service and years of contribution to protecting the Cape’s environment by adding her to the APCC honor roll.
