Cape Cod Beach Waves

Since 1968, APCC has been honored by bequests from members and friends whose extraordinary remembrance has supported a long list of achievements and milestones in preservation and improvement of Cape Cod’s environment. Click Here to see a chronology. Including APCC in your will is an excellent way to ensure that your concern and love for Cape Cod will continue through action and advocacy.

A legacy gift is simple; a few lines in your will or estate plan, such as the sample below, which you can share with your legal advisor, will do a world of good:

“I bequeath (a specific dollar amount/_______percentage or the entire residue of my estate) to The Association to Preserve Cape Cod, 482 Main Street, Dennis MA 02638, tax ID number 04-2462788, to be used for the preservation, improvement, and protection of Cape Cod’s natural environment.

A legacy gift is also flexible because it can be revised at any time, can be made as a specific amount or a percentage of your estate, and provides a federal estate tax charitable deduction.
