APCC Eco-Landscape Audit Program ~ take a step toward a more Cape-friendly landscape

The 2024 program will commence in mid-June. Watch for more information in APCC’s weekly eNewsletter

If you want to make your yard friendlier to pollinators and wildlife, learn more about native plants and controlling invasive species, and how to conserve water and protect the Cape’s water quality, we can help.

APCC’s Eco-landscape Audit program is aimed at helping homeowners make their landscapes more ecologically friendly by providing site-specific assessments and oodles of information for the DIYers or those that want to be more informed to hire the right landscape contractor. While we are not landscape designers or engineers, we do have the passion, experience, knowledge, and loads of resources to offer guidance to help you achieve your goals for a Cape-friendly yard.

Our team will meet with you and help with species identification, invasive species control recommendations, native planting suggestions, ideas for managing stormwater, and best land care practices. Following the consultation, you will receive a written report tailored to your property with the answers to your questions, and resource materials.

Eco-Landscape audits will be scheduled June through August, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Audits are up to 1.5 hours long and weather dependent. Our program is available for all 15 towns on the Cape.

The fee for an audit, accompanying resource materials, and written report is $350 and can be paid in advance by credit card at the time of scheduling or by personal check in person at time of the audit.

Our 2023 eco-landscape audit team gave a season wrap up presentation at the Brewster Ladies Library on Wednesday, August 16. You can view the presentation as a pdf here.
