Resetting the Trajectory from Doom to Boon at the Chase Garden Creek Salt Marsh

New England salt marshes are facing insurmountable odds due to historic human land use practices and sea level rise. The Chase Garden Creek salt marsh on the north side of Cape Cod (Yarmouth/Dennis, MA) is no exception. Without intervention, this marsh will continue to lose elevation, erode, and eventually drown. APCC is working with regional partners to explore a pathway towards sustainability and growth using innovative restoration techniques, such as ditch remediation and runnels.

The talk will be 45minutes with time for questions.
