Stewardship and Education
APCC provides numerous opportunities for students and others to participate in environmental programs and projects. We are especially proud of our many internships and volunteer stewardship programs under which students have the opportunity to work for extended periods of time on important environmental projects under the direction of professionals in the field.
Through our Salt Marsh Monitoring and Herring Run Monitoring and Restoration Programs, APCC cultivates stewardship and education by providing volunteers with the opportunity to work in the field with professional scientists. These programs keep dozens of Cape Codders busy from late March into early October as they assist in the collection of data essential to APCC’s programs.
