Our Work
Underlying all of the work of APCC is the profound understanding that Cape Cod is a simple land, made up of sand and water. These are its defining ingredients, the source of its allure and of its vulnerability. This fundamental principle translates into a cohesive program of advocacy under which APCC works for the adoption of laws, policies and programs that protect and enhance Cape Cod's natural resources and quality of life.
APCC recognizes that Cape Cod is a single geographic entity that cannot be protected if done piecemeal, or along political boundaries. At the same time the 15 towns and numerous villages on Cape Cod are distinctive communities. Thus, APCC works in our communities to protect our region, and works regionally to protect our communities.
